Adorable Ceramic Wedding Gifts.

Sunday, May 17th, 2009

I think the hardest part of planning a wedding is deciding on thank you gifts for your friends and family. There is choices like practical gifts that they can use at home, crystal gifts or maybe even ceramic wedding favors figurines. No matter which you consider, you’ll find more than enough to choose from.
I’m planning a themed wedding in a country western motif, and I’ve found quite a few exceptional ceramic favors to work with. You can use just about any favor made of ceramic for almost any themed wedding you are planning. Like the little tea caddys that I ran across online with nice black ceramic wedding trays to place them on. There are plenty of suggestions from candle holders to gorgeous tea lights and even flower vases as ceramic wedding gifts. I made wedding favor shopping the last thing on my to do list, because not only is it hard to choose the right gift, but there is just so much to choose from.
So, my tables were first on my list to be accessorized. Picnic tables were the choice for my country western décor, and I put red and white checked tablecloths on each with daisies in little metal buckets to use as centerpieces. I bought adorable little barbecue grills as place card holders, which I let all the guests keep after the reception. No catering service for us, we were having a cookout for our reception and the little barbecue grill place card holders were perfect for the tables. We had cowboy shaped glasses to drink from and little tiny cowboy hats at each guests place setting to add to the western motif. I chose the really lovely honey pots and dippers, with a heart on the end on their handles, as the ceramic wedding favors for our guests, instead of the tea caddy I saw earlier. I felt they worked out better for a country western theme and I really liked the way they looked. There were also beautiful candle holders that would have made a adorable ceramic wedding for our guests, and I almost decided on that. With all the great decorating accessories at my disposal, our tables had the look of a real country wedding, and the rest of the motif was perfect too.
With the haystacks we set up and the white lights twinkled in the trees, it was the epitome of a country wedding. Our wedding cake topper was not to be believed, it was figurines of a cowgirl roping her man and hauling him to the altar. Our wedding cake topper was the hit of the evening, everyone loves a good laugh. There were lots of laughter at our reception, we all dance, and partied our little hearts out and had such a super time. The kids really had a great time on the hayride we had all fixed up for everyone, and that had to be one of the best times ever.
Our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and all the people that cared enough to be in our wedding party received nice little gifts from us too. All the bridesmaids got adorable little ceramic wedding gifts, and the guys got these awesome cowboy steins as wedding thank you gifts. But for the little flower girl and the ring boy we bought tee shirts that had flower girl and ringboy printed on them. Our friends and family and everyone in our wedding party seemed to be very impressed with our choice of wedding favor gifts for each of them.
I ordered bride and groom cowboy hats for me and my husband, a few accessories like an adorable western themed guest book and pen set, and a gorgeous wedding album to store the memories of today in. All in all, this country western themed wedding was really more than I had hoped for, it was spectacular and we all had such a great time.
