Wedding day preparations are always an exhilarating experience, but the number of choices for the décor, gifts, and so on also makes it a somewhat frantic one. I know that when I tried to assist my daughter in planning her wedding, the biggest challenge was trying to get her to settle on one choice. The initial decision was just the overall genre of the wedding: something old-fashioned, or a trendier style of ceremony. We looked through all the themed wedding possibilities and she just couldn’t decide. Some of the options she kicked around were doing a gardening theme or a sand and surf theme. Ultimately, our new bride opted to go with a pretty conventional wedding. With that decision finally out of the way, we were able to start planning.
We shipped out the invitations, and we signed up to reserve the church for the ceremony and a reception hall for the reception dinner. She had her gown and the wedding party attire was all taken care of, so mostly what we had to concentrate on now, was the reception supplies and decorations. There were still a couple of accessories we needed to find, like her wedding guest book and wedding album. We looked through a great selection of wedding guest book sets, some with so many lovely designs to choose from. We had our pick of adorable wedding pens that went with the guestbooks, too. We still had a few items to find when my daughter ran across a six piece wedding set that had a solid white satin cover with satin bows and rhinestones. Along with a ring pillow and wedding garter, which were very attractive, was a charming flower basket and unity candle. A
personalized wedding guest book came with it. The price was so reasonable and the selection of wonderful choices was so wide that we were stunned. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
At last, we got around to buying wedding favors, a topper for the wedding cake, and place cards holders for the reception. That was all we had left to pick out. A couple of doves formed out of glazed porcelain were what my daughter selected to put at the top of her wedding cake. The pair of doves will make an exquisite figurine that will help her memories of the wedding day last a lifetime. Next we went for the place card holders, and for those my daughter decided to go with little silver picture frames for all of her guests at the reception. The people at the reception would be able to use the frames once the dinner was over, and my daughter thought that was a something they’d like. After looking at all of the items she selected for her ceremony and reception, I’d say she did a pretty good job of it. She’s excited about having some extra money for the honeymoon since she found such good bargains on most of the things she bought for the wedding.
It was a beautiful wedding, and the reception looked fantastic. Their first dance together made us all realize what a handsome couple this really was. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. My little girl was now a wife and would someday be a mother, maybe with a daughter of her own. Well, when that day comes, I know exactly where I’ll go to get the supplies and shower favors for the baby shower I’ll throw. Whatever you’re planning a party for, that website has anything you could possibly need. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.
